WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • A quiet, comfortable space large enough to use (boardroom, lunchroom, spare office, A/V room, gymnasium, etc.)
  • Each person will need a yoga mat, comfortable clothing and a water bottle
  • CD player or computer to use for music (optional)


ABOUT OUR CLASSES
All of Innergy’s instructors are qualified, fully certified, carry liability insurance and are trained in Emergency First Aid and CPR.

Our yoga and pilates classes are designed to fit the needs of the individuals in each group. Most of our classes are all-levels and are suitable for almost anyone, even absolute beginners.

We recommend practicing yoga at least twice a week.

CHOOSE FROM OUR MANY CLASS TYPES

Boardroom Yoga - This class is perfect for companies who want to participate in a yoga program, but don't have the appropriate space. Classes can be done in chairs, around a table or standing without mats. All poses will be modified to suit the space you have. Participants are welcome to wear their regular workplace clothing. Yoga mats are not necessary.

Hatha Yoga - Our most popular class!
The goal of Hatha Yoga is to create an absolute balance between the physical body, mind and energy. This class will use asanas (physical postures), breathing techniques and meditation. Participants will become stronger, more flexible and will feel relaxed at the end of each class.

We offer the following Hatha Yoga classes:

  • Beginner – Suitable for absolute beginners with little or no experience with yoga. Students will be introduced to basic yoga postures and the instructor will offer plenty of hands on adjustments, to ensure students are safe and performing postures correctly.

  • Intermediate – Suitable for a class where students have at least some experience doing yoga. Students should be familiar with some names of postures.

  • Advanced – Only suitable for a class where everyone has at least some experience with yoga. Postures will be difficult and may include balancing poses and inverted poses. Be prepared to work hard!

  • All Levels - Suitable for a group of people with varying abilities and levels of experience. Instructor will give plenty of variations, allowing more advanced students to go further, while providing an opportunity for beginner students to rest or explore easier options in a pose.


Power Yoga
A highly energized and fast-paced flow of yoga. Power Yoga is challenging and invigorating, and will strengthen every muscle in your body as you work up a sweat, vigorously heat the body, and move quickly through each posture. Participants must be physically fit before beginning this class.

Yin Yoga
This style of yoga is more passive than most and uses gravity to allow students to descend more deeply into their practice. Yin Yoga targets connective tissue, such as ligaments, bones and joints, more so than in a more active style of yoga. Poses are held anywhere from 1-20 minutes. While this may initially be seen as an unchallenging type of yoga, participants usually report that it is much more difficult than they anticipated.

Pilates
A low-impact blend of yoga, ballet and other forms of fitness, pilates focuses on the core muscles - the abdominals and pelvic floor muscles. Through the use of correct form, proper breathing and mental focus, participants will become more flexible, and strengthen the whole body, especially the back and abdominal muscles.

Meditation
This instructor-led class will relax the body and calm the mind. Meditation has been shown to increase quality of life, lower blood pressure and cholesterol, reduce stress and much more. Suitable for all levels. Classes are all 30 minutes long.


CLASS RATES

30-minute classes (Meditation only):
For groups of 15 or more students, the rate is $4 per person, per class.
For groups of fewer than 15 students, the rate is a flat charge of $60 per class.

45-60 minute class:
For one weekly class

For groups of 15 or more students, the rate is $5 per person, per class.
For groups of fewer than 15 students, the rate is a flat charge of $75 per class.

For two or more weekly classes
For groups of 15 or more students, the rate is $4.60 per person, per class.
For groups of fewer than 15 students, the rate is a flat charge of $69 per class.

75 minute class:
For one weekly class
For groups of 15 or more students, the rate is $6 per person, per class.
For groups of fewer than 15 students, the rate is a flat charge of $90 per class.

For two or more weekly classes
For groups of 15 or more students, the rate is $5.60 per person, per class.
For groups of fewer than 15 students, the rate is a flat charge of $84 per class.

90 minute class: Best Value!
For one weekly class
For groups of 15 or more students, the rate is $6.50 per person, per class.
For groups of fewer than 15 students, the rate is a flat charge of $97.50 per class.

For two or more weekly classes
For groups of 15 or more students, the rate is $6.00 per person, per class.
For groups of fewer than 15 students, the rate is a flat charge of $90 per class.
